Location: The Landing at Disney Springs
Cost: $$-$$$ Your opinion of the cost will depend on your level of need for an allergy safe bakery. If you can normally buy your child treats from a regular bakery, the prices here may feel exorbitant. If you have a child with severe allergies to cross contact with their allergens, the prices for this safer bakery will feel much more reasonable.
What's so special about it: For those with children with allergies to milk and egg (and more), being able to just walk in and tell your child, "order whatever you'd like" is a magical experience.
Allergy Info: Many items contain Coconut. The entire bakery is free of artificial dyes, dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, other tree nuts (except coconut), and peanuts! Our son has allergies to tree nuts (he's fine with coconut) and has eaten baked goods here for years without any issues. All allergy families have different preferences for shared facilities/shared lines, so if you need allergy information about their flour, Bob's Redmill Gluten Free Flour, visit Erin McKenna's Bakery: https://www.erinmckennasbakery.com/ingredients
No Seating: Erin McKenna's Bakery is a counter service bakery. Items are purchased to go.

Special Occasion Cakes and Donuts: We have special ordered boxes of donuts (can be delivered to local Disney resorts), a custom birthday cake (for pickup), and had a standard birthday cake with mickey icing delivered to a Disney Theme-Park Restaurant and served to us as a special surprise for our son's birthday!
Vegan Allergy-Friendly Ice Cream Cups: We recently tried the coconut milk "ice cream" cup offered at Erin McKenna's Bakery (info below) and found it to be delicious! These ice cream cups are made by a small, local company called Kai & Ty's, free of top 8 allergies except coconut (flyer below). They only had the chocolate flavor (vanilla has not been stocked in months), but the flavor reminded my husband and I of a chocolate Frosty from Wendy's. This local company does not seem to have an in-person ice cream shop. Unsure if this offering will change in the future, as restocking seems to be extremely slow.

Our Rating: 3-4 Stars - The feeling of walking in to a bakery and telling your child with dairy and egg allergies to "Pick anything you want" is a very special experience that families with severe allergies rarely get to experience. People have mixed opinions about this bakery due to the prices as well as the texture of GF items. Gluten free baked goods can be denser/drier and sweeter than regular baked goods. Your impression of this bakery will depend on your allergies and your ability to purchase items from a regular bakery. Our family has gone there for years and really enjoys the Donuts (cake style donuts with icing) and Cinnamon Rolls. Each time we stop at Disney Springs, we visit Erin McKenna's Bakery for a donut or a cinnamon roll!
Best Wishes,
No Dairy, No Eggs, No Problem
