Pinnochio Haus, A Quick Serve Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom Theme Park

Updated: May 6, 2024

Restaurant Theme: Pinnochio's story

Location: Inside Magic Kingdom Theme Park, at the back, next to "It's a Small World" ride.

Type of Cuisine: American

Cost: $ Affordable, family friendly (Adult Chicken Tender Meal, shown above, was $11)

Style Dining: Quick Serve

Pace: Average for allergy orders, provided you can get a coordinator quickly. They gave us a pager to pick up the food, so we could sit at a table to wait for our order. This is so much better than at Cosmic Rays, where you can end up standing and waiting in a crowd, while non-allergy diners have to move around you to pick up their orders.

Special Features: Beautiful story art, view of Small World ride boats as they go by, pre-made signs to hold up to boat riders with silly instructions.

Dairy-free, Egg-free Dining Options (food that we ordered):

Chicken Tenders and Fries: Adult order has 4 tenders, child order has 2 tenders. Contains wheat. The chicken tenders were actually quite big and there were a lot of fries, so a child meal should be plenty for most children 9 and under.

Allergy Friendly Vegan Cheese Pizza: Dairy free, egg free, nut free (vegan cheese contains coconut oil), gluten free round pizza is large enough for one adult or two children. This is different than the flatbread pizzas they serve.

Allergy Friendly Pepperoni Pizza:  Dairy free, egg free, nut free (vegan cheese contains coconut oil), gluten free round pizza is large enough for one adult or two children. This is different than the flatbread pizzas they serve.

Allergy Notes:

  1. Pizza: Allergy pizza crust is also gluten free. If ordering dairy-free pizza at this location, note that it is a shared pizza oven (conveyer belt style), with your order on an allergy free tray. This is different than Pizzafari, where they informed us that they have a separate pizza oven for allergy pizzas.

  2. Chicken Tenders: Of the two kinds of tenders here, the wheat tenders were free of dairy and egg, while the gluten-free tenders had egg.

  3. Fries: No dedicated fryer just for fries here. Regular fries are cooked with wheat chicken tenders and may contain wheat. Allergy fries are gluten free, presumably cooked with allergy chicken tenders, which contain egg (no gluten free egg free fries here).

Our Rating: ****  4 Stars - We really liked the storybook style to the restaurant, watching the boats take off from the ride next door through the shared window, and we liked having multiple kid-friendly allergy-safe options at a good price! The pager was a plus because we could sit and relax while waiting for our food. The chicken tenders were very tasty and the pizzas were quite "cheesy" for vegan pizzas, so we felt we got a good value for our allergy needs at this quick serve. We always double check that all of our allergies are listed on the receipt after we pay and confirm the allergies the order is safe for at pick up. The allergy coordinator helped us through the binder to make sure everything we ordered was safe for our milk, egg, tree nuts, and shellfish allergies. We happened to go when the restaurant just opened, but this restaurant may get croweded and waiting for an allergy coordinator may take awhile during peak dining times.

Best Wishes,

No Dairy, No Eggs, No Problem
